This is a temporary position for approximately 8-10 weeks. Provides care by performing both non-professional nursing care duties as well as professional nursing duties that are delegated and supervised by a professional nurse and are within the scope of practice and performs other duties as assigned. This role will offer various departments and shifts. Work Schedule: Various departments and shifts - temporary position Required Qualifications: Current enrollment in a registered nurse program and has completed one of the following: Year 1 of ADN program or Year 3 of a baccalaureate program BLS - American Heart Association or BLS - American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider) prior to start date. Clinical student nursing experience under the direction of a nursing faculty member. Knowledge and skill in performing aseptic technique. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to properly lift 50 pounds, lifts 100 pounds with assistance. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with patients, visitors, and co-workers. Ability to perform basic technical nursing skills.
