Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Mix paints and other materials to achieve desired colors and finishes.
Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the painting process.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
Perform touch-ups and repairs as necessary to maintain quality standards.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in various environments.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials.
Mechanical knowledge is an asset; experience with auto body repair is a plus.
Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse equipment safely.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to painting tasks.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is beneficial.
Experience in welding or fabrication is a nice-to-have skill but not required.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
