Nike’s Global Places & Services organization drives the strategy and operations of Nike’s entire corporate portfolio and the services that make it run.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are looking for a Lead, Location Intelligence to join Nike GPS! This person will not only drive the location advisory function that answers the “where” and “why” of Nike’s corporate real estate investment decisions, but will also help drive the development of location/portfolio reviews. The role requires excellent written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, ability to transform data and information into succinct and compelling investment narratives and must have relevant experience in commercial real estate site selection, location strategy, urban planning, urban economics, or related consulting fields.WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONIf this is you, you’ll be working within Global Places & Services (GPS) to source and manage ongoing streams of data critical to location selection methodologies. Your proven experience in the space of location selection allows you to be a key contributor to the ongoing development of location and site selection methodologies that include but are not limited to considerations of long-term enterprise growth, talent acquisition and retention, and portfolio management strategies. Your exceptional skills in the craft of producing business intelligence reporting, case studies, and investment proposals will enable you to develop this material independently. Finally, you will be responsible for driving the process of semi-annual location strategy and portfolio reporting moments.WHO YOU WILL WORK WITHYou will work externally to evolve data sources and internally with GPS Intelligence team to evolve existing data and GIS platforms that house dashboards and other critical location information assets. You will collaborate with Manufacturing+Supply Chain, Global Real Estate, and Finance teams on the production of reports and investment cases needed for committee decisions and will also help drive the location evaluation process and meetings in post-implementation review.WHAT YOU BRINGThe ideal candidate must have:
3+ years’ experience in the full-cycle craft of producing business intelligence advisory reporting for site selection, including case studies and investment proposals, from data sourcing to the production of text copy and supporting exhibits, charts, maps, and other visual information collateral. Relevant experience in this space would include economic impact reporting, multi-site investment strategy, and advisory assignments of similar depth.
2+ years’ experience in a role requiring cross-functional collaboration with partners to understand and undertake research pertaining to real estate operations and government compliance, tax and other incentives, and other forms of public-private partnership
Demonstrated familiarity with data and information sources and methods required to assess large-scale commercial real estate opportunities and investments internationally
Knowledge of urban economics topics and the ability to undertake relevant research in this area pertaining to Nike’s enterprise development
Exceptional skills in the design of advisory collateral using Powerpoint
Exceptional data management and financial analysis skills using Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.)
Experience using GIS platforms for analysis of real estate
Proven project management skills pertaining to collaboration and project delivery in fast-paced and environments of informal authority
Bachelor degree in urban economics, urban planning, real estate, management consulting, or corporate real estate portfolio management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
