Mockingbird Gallery is located at the intersection of Wall Street and Minnesota Avenue, in the heart of beautiful Downtown Bend, Oregon. Mockingbird Gallery is one of the Pacific Northwest's premier Fine Art Galleries. The gallery has the wonderful opportunity to represent about 45 artists from all over the country. We are also very pleased to be celebrating 35 years in 2025!
Peterson Contemporary Art Gallery is the foremost contemporary art gallery in the heart of Bend, Oregon located in the Franklin Crossing Building on the corner of Bond Street and Franklin Avenue. We strive to cultivate a welcoming environment and to connect artists and the public. The gallery is a modern dream, encouraging the creative development of artists through all different kinds of mediums and influences. We currently have almost forty artists located locally as well as all over the country, Japan and Italy to help us achieve this goal of creative cohesiveness.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team at Mockingbird and PCA. This role is essential for the smooth and efficient operation of our office, supporting the gallery's staff and clients.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Manage correspondence, maintain records, and handle general administrative tasks.
Scheduling and Appointments:
Coordinate and manage appointment schedules, calendar management, and event planning.
Office Operations:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Financial Management:
Assist with accounts payable and receivable, manage office expenses, and track budgets.
Client Communication:
Respond to inquiries, handle customer service requests, and provide excellent customer service. Sales experience a plus. There will be some opportunities to sell on some shifts.
Staff Support:
Assist staff with various tasks, provide administrative support, and ensure smooth workflow.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in office management, administrative support, or a related field.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), QuickBooks and, ideally, a collections management software program.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Experience with financial management or bookkeeping is a plus.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience in a gallery or art-related environment is a plus.
Knowledge of art world practices and terminology is a plus.

Benefits:
Compensation of $20-23 depending on experience
1% Profit Sharing of Earned Revenue after 90-day probational period
