AURAS Preschool a based-home Certified Preschool is looking for hiring for a part-time, Assistant.
Qualifications:
CPR and First Aid certified
Enrollment in the Central Background Registry, and fingerprinting
Recognizing & Reporting Child Abuse Training
Introduction to Childcare Health and Safety Training
Food Handlers Card
Formal childcare experience is not required; however, experience working with children in some capacity is required.
Enrolling in the central background registry can take up to 30 days, and you cannot work on-site until the process is complete. Job Duties (Include but are not limited to):
Food and meal prep, meal serving, and meal clean-up; including dishwashing.
Toileting assistance
Engagement with children through play, creating positive learning experiences for children of all ages.
Assist in keeping the classroom tidy and inviting for the children.
Assist with observation and assessment of the children.
Interact with parents, informing parents of what their child did throughout the day.
Plan and set up classroom activities
PATIENCE, and understanding of children’s individual developmental stages
