Job Title: Event Coordinator for Immersion Brewing’s Event Space, The Barrel Room

Job Description: We are currently looking for an Event Coordinator to manage our event space, The Barrel Room, with the opportunity to run company-wide events as well. The Event Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Barrel Room. The position may vary in hourly commitment per week, with an expectation of at least 20 hours per week. High demand for the space may include longer hours and some overtime.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with guests prior to scheduled events if necessary.
Plan, prepare, and coordinate event details including guest requests, banquet menu, room preparation, etc.
Provide internal communication with in-house staff including kitchen and brewery staff.
Assist in executing events from start to completion, including serving, bartending, and clean-up.
Menu design and pricing in conjunction with the chef and general manager.
Train event servers and support staff.
Develop creative and lucrative events that utilize The Barrel Room to showcase the event space and the brewery.
Take photos for social media and work with marketing to advertise the event space.
Utilize coordination tools (internet tools, and documents) to maintain constant communication with all management and brewery staff.
Have the space set and ready prior to each event, then clean-up of the event space.
Invoices and receive payments for events through our POS or other means.
Experience/Skills:
Proven skills in event planning and execution.
2-3 years of related experience.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with others.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
OLCC service permit and Food Handler’s card.
