Kanpai currently has the opportunity for an enthusiastic experienced sushi chef to join our award winning kitchen. As Kanpai continues to grow, we are looking to expand the team. Our ideal new team member, not only has a minimum 3yrs of sushi experience, but also has worked on the "hot" side of kitchens. We are looking for someone with a FIRM understanding of maki, nigiri, and sashimi as well as butchering fish. Prior experience with broiler, sauté, and fryer stations also a huge plus.
Starting pay for an experienced sushi chef with this level of understanding is between $23-$25hr, plus nightly tip out.
