About Us:
Inspired by the street markets and lush jungles of Asia, JIA is an Asian restaurant and mixology bar located in Bend, Oregon. The kitchen draws influences from Vietnam, China, Thailand and other parts of Asia. We are looking for the right people to join our JIA family!
Position: DISHWASHER/PREP
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area
- Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials properly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a clean and efficient kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dishwasher is a plus but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Team player with good communication skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
