Kanpai currently has the opportunity for an enthusiastic manager/sushi chef to join our award winning kitchen. As Kanpai continues to grow, we are looking to expand the team. Our ideal new team leader, not only has a minimum 3yrs of sushi experience, but also has worked on the "hot" side of kitchens, has previous experience managing a small BOH team while working side by side with FOH management. We are looking for someone with a FIRM understanding of all things sushi and positive leadership.
Starting pay for this position depends on experience but would be seriously competitive. This position also qualifies for immediate enrollment in our owner matched retirement savings plan. Paid vacation time after 1yr. which also increases annually. Nightly shift meals, and more.
