Job SummaryOur busy multi-season rustic lodge and lake resort, featuring rental cabins, a campground, and marina is seeking a hard working Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience preparing American Cuisine, enjoys working in a busy restaurant environment, and is capable of multi-tasking effectively. We are willing to consider advancement opportunities for the right candidate and work ethic.Must be willing to work in a more remote lake area approximately 30 minutes from Bend, OR.Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in creating amazing culinary experiences including input to our menu Collaborate with the Head Chef and Prep Cooks to prepare quality meals during our dining hours. Measure and assemble ingredients for all menu items. Maintain accurate food inventories. Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures. Rotate stock items as per established procedures. Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts. Ensure that all food and cook areas are cleaned and sanitized throughout and at the end of your shift. Bring a positive attitude and willingness to have fun! Qualifications High school diploma/GED required. 2+ years’ experience as a Line Cook in the restaurant industry. Able to read and follow standardized recipes. Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures. Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere Certification preferred.
