Ranch Hands Needed! Male or female ranch hands need for ranch 1 hour from Bend and Prineville, OR. Job includes mucking, feeding, filling and cleaning waters, pulling weeds, moving horses, maintaining vehicles and helping the equine team wherever needed. We are also happy to train people to run fence, welding and some mechanics. Experience with horses is a plus but not a deal breaker.
The job is from 7:30am to 3:30pm and starting pay is $23.50 per hour. Pay raise after 3 months if it's a good fit. Please note, this job is strenuous, working outside in all weathers but with a good team and good pay.
We are looking for people who love animals, are reliable and consistent, good attitude and a muck in kind of positive demeanor, happy to do whatever tasks are needed that day. This is a place of real growth and opportunity to grow within the position and stay for a long time or just a season.
Job is full time, five days a week. Part time is also available and housing is available to the right candidate.
Please note: We are also looking to expand our equine staff and need people happy to just come muck and help out when available.
