Cooper Contracting has one available position for a experienced timber faller for the 2024 fire season.
We are looking to fill one open spot on our falling mod ranked 1st out 27 on Central Oregons dispatch priority list.
Pay is $600 a day. Paycheck every two weeks.
($600 x 2 fallers = over half the total daily rate for this mod)
Must have own saws and falling equipment (chaps,wedges, axe, ect.)
Nomex fire clothing,line pack,shelter and hardhat will be provided along with all necessary training classes needed.
Previous Fire experience a plus but not required.
Must have minimum 3yr's work history in Timber falling/logging industry to apply.
per the government standards of our contract, Arborist work history does NOT qualify
