We are seeking reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious team members to join our lumber remanufacturing facility. Whether you are just starting your career in manufacturing or bring years of mill experience, we have opportunities for you to grow with us.
Entry-Level General Laborer
For those new to the industry, this role focuses on supporting production through general labor tasks such as:
Sorting and stacking lumber
Assisting with moving, stacking, and handling materials
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Supporting team members with a positive “can-do” attitude
Following all company safety policies and procedures
No experience is required — just punctuality, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Experienced Production Roles (Up to Production 3)
For candidates with mill and machinery experience, responsibilities may also include:
Building pallets and crates to specifications
Operating and assisting with machinery (lathe saws, trim saws, board notchers, chop saws, resaws, etc.)
Performing machine adjustments, blade/tooling changes, and preventive maintenance
Conducting quality checks to ensure product standards are met
Troubleshooting minor mechanical issues and communicating with maintenance staff
Assisting with moulder operations (feeding, pulling, grading)
Cross-training on multiple machines to support production flow
Helping train and mentor newer employees in safe and efficient work practices
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to teamwork.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
Work Environment:
Industrial lumber remanufacturing facility with exposure to loud machinery, dust, and varying temperatures.
PPE provided and required at all times (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe boots).
Rotating shifts or weekend work may be required depending on production needs.
Compensation & Perks
Hourly Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Overtime: Eligible for overtime pay at 1.5x hourly rate for hours over 40 per week
Paid Time Off:
6 paid holidays annually
Sick Leave: Earned in accordance with Oregon law (minimum 1 hour per 30 hours worked)
