We are seeking a new full-time team member to bring upscale professionalism and next level customer service to our restaurant. Summary:
Under the direction of the manager, answers inbound phone calls, manages the restaurant computer reservation system, guest records and restaurant traffic flow. The guest coordinator assists the manager in administrative office tasks, manages the company social media, and provides support to the event coordinator. (about 50% host duties, and about 50% administrative duties)
Primary Job Duties:
Perform host/reservationist duties before and during service, including taking inbound calls, taking and confirming reservations, greeting and seating customers, and updating the board. As the first point of contact for all incoming guests, provide an excellent guest service to all patrons, and maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times. Build lasting connections with the guests by getting to know them and providing best-in-class customer service each and every visit and through every interaction.
Provide administrative support to the management team through a variety of clerical tasks, such as filing, organizing, document writing, record keeping, and other office and computer related support. Help management implement and maintain organization systems, such as personnel databases, checklists, employee guides and procedures.
Manage the social media and guest database for the restaurant, including guest mailing list set up and maintenance. Create original social media and marketing content for various media platforms, including photography of food and restaurant, and graphic design for event flyers, tickets and signs.
Provide backup and assist the event coordinator for the restaurant, including helping in the creation of event ideas, planning, marketing, and execution of a variety of special events, banquets and private parties. Become knowledgeable on upcoming events to be able to answer incoming calls or requests for information about the events, and be able to sell tickets.

Process gift card phone sales
Take and enter to-go orders
Maintain clean and orderly work station at front desk and in office
Become knowledgeable of menu including drinks and specials

Preferred Experience and Skills:
Ability to provide high quality customer service in a fast-paced and professional environment
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (word, excel) and Google Docs, and the ability to learn new programs
General office and clerical skills including typing, filing, and printing
Experience marketing, promoting or advertising with social media platforms required
Experience with POS and reservation software a plus
Previous administrative experience and/or customer service experience a plus
Must have or be willing to obtain Oregon Food Handlers Card

Other Details:
Fulltime: 30-40 hours a week, depending on business needs
Must be flexible as schedule will vary, including evenings and weekends
Shift will be approximately 12pm-9pm
Pay will be $14.00+ hourly DOE plus nightly tips
Must be able to stand 4+ hours
Works under the FOH Manager or MOD
