We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of managing properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and supporting property maintenance activities.
Duties
- Assist in handling tenant inquiries and requests and provide excellent customer service via telephone and e-mail
- Show available units to prospective tenants in accordance with Fair Housing Laws
- Process applications, conduct background checks, and verify income eligibility
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are completed accurately
- Enforce lease terms and handle tenant disputes or conflicts
- Process tenant violations, HOA notices and follow up for compliance.
- Maintain organized files and documentation related to property management
- Front desk/receptionist duties, greeting customers with a smile

Experience:
- Previous experience in property management is preferred
- Familiarity with Section 8 and Fair Housing regulations is a plus
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to handle conflict management and resolve tenant issues effectively
- Accurate data entry skills for maintaining tenant records and financial transactions
- Able to work in a team environment

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE
