Position Summary:
PCC Schlosser is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Chemical Waste Treatment Technician to join our Chemical Milling Operations Support Team. This hands-on role is primarily focused on maintaining and repairing process equipment used in chemical milling.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, valves, tanks, filters, and chemical dosing systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in the chemical milling area.
Monitor system performance and perform routine pH balance checks.
Assist with safe handling, storage, and transfer of process chemicals and waste materials.
Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection logs and documentation.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and support safe operations.
Qualifications
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills; comfortable with basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to safely handle and work around industrial chemicals (training provided).
Basic understanding of pumps, piping, and control systems.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional overtime or shift coverage optional.
