We are seeking a motivated detailed person to join our team. This position is responsible for day to day maintenance and unit turns.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair
Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
Prepare apartments for new residents (turnovers), including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs
Conduct regular property inspections and preventative maintenance
Respond to emergency maintenance requests (may include on-call rotation)
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and inventory
Ensure compliance with all safety and building regulations
Collaborate with the property management team to prioritize maintenance tasks
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus
2+ years of experience in apartment or property maintenance preferred
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have a valid drivers license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
Must be able to pass a background check.
