We are a busy/well established granite fabrication shop looking for an experienced, reliable Lead Installer to join our team. We don't need a lot of talk; we need a professional who takes pride in their work and shows up ready to go. If you are serious about your craft, reliable, and have an eye for detail, we want to talk to you.
What We Need From You:
Experience (Encouraged but not required): Experience with granite, quartz, or other natural/engineered stone countertops is preferred but not required…we are willing to train the right person.
Precision & Detail: You must have exceptional attention to detail to ensure perfect leveling, seamless fit, and clean caulking/seaming. Your work reflects our shop's quality.
Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy stone slabs, standing for long periods, and working on-site in various conditions.
Professionalism: You will be the face of our company on-site. Professional demeanor, clear communication with homeowners/contractors, and a commitment to keeping the work area clean are essential.
Reliability: You must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Showing up on time, every time, is non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the installation of all stone countertops (granite, quartz, marble, etc.) from start to finish.
Review job specifications and ensure the correct materials and tools are loaded before leaving the shop.
Manage a small crew or assistant effectively on-site.
Handle all aspects of installation, including setting, leveling, seaming, securing, and back-cutting when necessary.
Ensure all final work passes a high standard of quality inspection.
