Local residential general contractor looking for licensed, bonded and insured carpenters to help with ongoing projects in Central Oregon.
Project duties, Preferred Skills & Abilities:
-Perform basic interior or exterior repair, remodel or new construction carpentry work as assigned. This may also include a small amount of site demolition work occasionally.
-Maintain a clean, safe job site at all times.
-Some basic appliance installations.
-Basic door and cabinetry hardware installation.
-Exhibit good judgment, high ethical standards, & reliability at all times to represent our company well to our customers.
-Must have own tools
-Must have general knowledge of carpentry tools and practices.
-General knowledge of residential carpentry techniques such as window/door installation, trims, and closet and storage systems.
-Must be able to cut, frame and install all types of trim work, hang doors, install base, paneling, and assist with specialty carpentry work such as mantles and built-in cabinets.
-Must have general knowledge of reading blueprints.
-Must have general knowledge of residential building codes.
-Able to work year-round, in all weather conditions (assuming it's safe of course)
