Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder that also enjoys mechanical duties to join our team. (Certification not required, but skills test will be required at time of interview to prove welding ability). The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to support our production processes. Actual welding duties are only about a 1/3 of total job requirements. Desire and ability to learn the mechanical part of equipment we work on (if not already experienced) would be essential and vastly grow personal value. Candidate needs to own essential welding tools pertinent to the trade. Also needs to own basic mechanic hand tools up to 1 inch with tool box. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Perform welding tasks using MIG, minor TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality control
- Operate welding equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Use personal and supplied mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic tools for disassembly and assembly of customer equipment.
- Painting equipment and installing decals
- Use of steam cleaner
- Operation of overhead cranes and forklifts
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Ability to follow equipment repair procedures
- Ability to use most mechanical and torque tools with efficiency
- Ability to use and be accurate with most forms of measuring devices (tape measures, calipers, bore gauges)
- Willing to take on new challenges and tasks for personal and company growth
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
