C.A.T.S. Medical Transportation is seeking three new drivers:
Two Wheelchair drivers ("willing to train"), one for a Monday-Friday schedule and one for a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
One Stretcher Assistant ("willing to train") for a Monday-Friday schedule.
C.A.T.S. provides medical transportation throughout Oregon. For example, we transport clients from Bend, Oregon, to OHSU for procedures. We specialize in Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), providing door-to-door service to individuals who lack alternative transportation to and from medical appointments. Our priority is to ensure the safest and most comfortable transport possible.
Requirements:
At least 23 years old
Able to pass a 10-panel drug screening
No DUIs within the last 5 years
Zero at fault accidents and no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years
Clean criminal background check
Able to lift 50lbs
Certifications Required Post-Hire:
CPR/AED/First Aid
Defensive Driving course (completed online)
P.A.S.S. Basic Certification (completed online)
Full P.A.S.S. Certification (completed in person, required before transporting wheelchairs)
Compensation:
Starting wage up to $20.00, with yearly increases
Eight paid holidays off after one year of employment
Random performance bonuses
Please note that NEMT does not offer a standard 9-5 schedule. Hours vary daily, requiring flexibility.
