Aloha Produce of Oregon is a leading produce distributor to restaurants and institutions in Central Oregon. As the Transportation Manager you will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and timely delivery of our products while navigating the complexities of state and federal regulations in an ever-changing business landscape. Managerial responsibilities include: Personnel Management - Lead and manage a team within the transportation department overseeing hiring, training and day-to-day supervision. Equipment Management: Manage and maintain the transportation fleet ensuring all vehicles are in optimal condition and compliant with safety standards. Operational Efficiency: Strategically organize and adjust schedules to ensure the timely delivery, optimize route for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Compliance Management - Maintain a comprehensive understanding of state and federal regulations governing the transportation industry. Ensuring the transportation department adheres to all relevant compliance standards. Culture Management: Foster a culture of camaraderie, safety, accountability and continuous improvement within the transportation team.
