Oregon State University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital has an opportunity available in our Small Animal Hospital for a full-time Oncology technician. We pride ourselves in providing the highest quality medicine for our patients and superior instruction for our veterinary students. Our clients are dedicated to their pets, and we are committed to providing them with the care that they deserve! We have multiple VTS technicians on our team, as well as doctors who are board-certified in Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Critical Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, Oncology and Surgery. Our facility is newly expanded, and state of the art. Located in the beautiful Willamette Valley, Corvallis is an easy drive from Portland, the Cascades and the gorgeous Pacific Coast so that you can enjoy all that the PNW has to offer.
We are looking for a technician who is compassionate, confident in their skills and ready to impart their knowledge and wisdom to the next generation of veterinarians. We value our techs and their contribution to the education of future veterinarians. Oncology technicians support their patients and team from diagnostics and staging through administration of chemotherapy, with cross-training opportunities in other specialty areas such as Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Surgery and ICU as well. Technicians must be credentialed and able to achieve Oregon certification within the first six months after hire.
