Benco is hiring for an experienced female (BFOQ) Direct Support Professional.

Work with an adult female who is caring, funny, creative and outgoing and lives in her own town home.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate to join this team would be experienced in the IDD field; have emotional maturity; be skilled at handling challenging situations; and know how to develop trust and respect with the support they provide. They would enjoy facilitating community activities; participating in games and crafts; and have a sense of humor.
The applicant must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Set schedules available:
Full-time Saturday – Wednesday 7a-3p = 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits.
Full-time Monday – Friday 3p-9a = 30 hours per week. Eligible for benefits.
Part-time Thursday, Friday 7a-3p and Saturday, Sunday 3p-9p = 28 hours per week.
Wages and Raises:
Wage DOE $18.00 to $22.08/hr. Capped at $29.84/hr.
Benco offers raises every 6 months for the first 2 years and annually thereafter if the employee has not reached the cap for that position. Raises are: 3% 6-months, 5% 1-year, 3% 1.5-years, 5% 2-years and 6% thereafter until the cap is reached for that position.

Benco offers the opportunity to apply for the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) credentialing. The program offers to elevate the status of Direct Support Professionals by improving practice standards, promoting system reform, and advancing their knowledge, skills, and values. Furthermore, offering the control to increase your wages as you complete each credentialing program if you have not reached the CAP for that position.
