This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Groundman at Top Tier Tree Care in Albany, OR. The Lead Groundman will be responsible leading a team of grounds crew members to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Assist with the setup and takedown of equipment and machinery. Safely operate chainsaws, chippers, and other equipment as needed. Properly handle and dispose of debris and tree limbs. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate effectively with crew members to ensure the job requirements are understood and met.
Qualifications
Experience in trees, groundworks, and landscaping
Strong knowledge of safety and industry standards
Ability to lead and manage a team
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Additional certifications or qualifications in arboriculture or related fields are a plus
