A Harrisburg, OR company is seeking a Production Associate/Forklift Operator $12.50-$14.00 ph
Core Responsibilities:
Help support the unloading, checking-in, and distribution of freight,
Pull orders
Load semi-truck trailers
Manage shipping pallet organization
Ensure the highest quality pallets are used for shipments.
You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities.
Looking for a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.
This company has room for fast growth and can evolve into assisting in other areas, including work with the internal Shipping and Receiving department.
What we look for in a Forklift Operator:
Strong hand-eye coordination
Forklift and loading/unloading experience
Experience to reading bill of lading and other freight forms
Compensation: $12.50 - $14.00
Employment type: full-time
Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday
Attributes and Skills desired in applicant:
computer knowledge, data entry, math, people, phone and reception skills. Accuracy and attention paid to details are essential, filing and organizational skills, needs to be able to multi task and work well within a teamwork environment. Must have the initiative to keep busy, contribute to a clean work environment, have good communication skills and possess effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
