DESCRIPTIONAbout the PositionThis position is with our medication assisted treatment programs. Primary duties include responsibility for all aspects of daily dispensing of methadone medication, including preparation and administration of doses, and ensuring that all aspects of dispensing meet Federal, State and DEA regulations. Provide care management and education for individuals with opioid use disorder. Coordination of patient care with prescribers and clinical team. Nursing assessments including the need for emergency services to hospital or primary care. Supporting our providers with rooming, and other patient care and support duties as needed. Will need to be able to navigate both EHR systems used daily. Will be back up support for our medical team in both the Methadone and Buprenorphine programs. About the DivisionThe Lane County Medication Assisted Treatment Program uses a holistic model of treatment that embraces traditional abstinence based recovery as well as harm reduction principles. We have a small, but dedicated team who provides medication assisted treatment services to help program participants reduce and ultimately end the use of heroin and other opioid drugs.Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday; 5:00am - 2:00pm.This position is represented by AFSCME Local 2831.QUALIFICATIONSExperience and Training:

Graduation from an approved school for Licensed Practical Nursing.

Special Requirements:

Possession of a State of Oregon license as a Practical Nurse at time of appointment.

A current CPR/BLS.

Immunization record and TB test within 10 days of hire
