Rigging Crew (Hooktender, Choker Setters, ETC): Looking for EXPERINCE and ability to learn! If you've got time in the Brush, we need you!
Hooktenders: pay can start at $30 per hour with proof of ADEQUATE and PRACTICAL experience. Hooktenders must know how to climb and rig trees and work in both thins and clear cuts. You need to be able to communicate with all crew members/managers and take responsibility for the WHOLE operation.
Rigging Slingers: pay can start $27 per hour with proof of working knowledge and experience. You must be able to efficiently direct your crew and accurately operate whistles on a variety of equipment. Production and safety are your priorities.
Choker setters: Non-experienced choker setters start at $17.50, experienced start at $20. Choker setters need to be able to move quickly and efficiently on uneven and often rugged terrain. You need to be able to follow directions and are responsible for your part of production and safety.
Chaser: Must have landing experience and be skilled with a chainsaw. We are looking for an individual who is able to move quickly and efficiently on the landing preforming various tasks including (but not limited to) unbaling chockers under the yarder merchandising and bucking logs, delimbing, other. Chaser pay can start at $25 per hour experience and ability to merchandise logs for best quality outcomes is required for this pay rate.
YARDER and Shovel/Processor Operators: Experience on a logging site REQUIRED. Please do not apply if you have not had time on a landing. Yarder Operator with experience in different yarders a HUGE plus ($)! Call with any questions about machines, pay, etc.
