How would you like to work outside with your hands in the dirt and get a workout in at the same time?!
We are looking for gardeners to join our beautiful organic farm in the foothills of the coastal range just a quick 30 minutes give or take from both Eugene and Corvallis.
We are part of Deck Family Farm, with over 300 certified organic acres, we raise six species of animals following intensive grazing practices and regenerative farming methods that are focused on building soil, air and plant health. In the garden, we grow a variety of organic mixed vegetables and work through all seasons.
Ideally, we are looking for someone for Monday and Thursday, but there is room for more hours in the garden and also in our CSA program packing boxes for members and doing deliveries.
To succeed in this role, you should be physically fit, friendly and reliable. Experience is a plus, but willing to train the right person. Some of the tasks you would be involved in would be harvesting, washing and packing vegetables, seeding, weeding, garden bed prep, and general garden cleanup.

Not to mention the many benefits of time spent outside in the fresh air with your hands in the soil and the birds as your soundtrack. Pay depends on experience. Experience gardening in the Willamette valley and small machinery experience are especially welcome and needed.
