NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking a Manual Machinist to start immediately in a high end Electrical and Industrial repair shop centrally located in Eugene, OR. This is an evaluation to hire position on a day shift with plenty of overtime and opportunity.
What we are seeking in a qualified candidate:
2+ Years operating a manual mill.
2+ Years operating manual lathes
Some press brake experience is preferred.
Ability to read precision measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
Reading blueprints and schematics
Great trouble shooting and repair skills.
Can stand, stoop, bend, push and pull for a 10-hour shift.
The ability to lift 60+ lbs.
Knowledge of how different metals are affected in the machining process.
Good shop math skills.
JOB DETAILS:
Location: Eugene, OR. 97402
Shift: Day
Days: Monday – Thursday (Overtime on Friday)
Hours: 6AM to 4:30PM
Pay: $25/h to $30/h DOE
