Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and fun people to join out team of Non-emergency Medical Transport Drivers. As an NEMT driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers to their destinations. This position requires excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, ability to use a smart-phone, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate vehicles while ensuring quality customer service throughout transport.
- Transport passengers to designated locations in a timely manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading their belongings as needed
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers or supervisors regarding any changes or issues during transportation
- Follow established routes and schedules to ensure on-time arrivals
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Be able to pass a drug test, including for marijuana
- Previous driving experience is preferred. Applicants with no experience will be considered on a case by case basis.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
