Belle Fiore Winery, Estate & Vineyards is seeking a Wine Bar & Food Program Manager.

Tasks Involved:

Management of Wine Bar and Food Pairing performance and shift flow.

Scheduling nightly live music.

Working closely and assisting with Tasting Room Manager.

Covering shifts of Tasting Room manager and floor staff when needed.

Assist in tasting room or events departments as needed.

Ability to serve on tables when business flow shows necessary.

Works closely with winery Chef on wine pairings designed for food program.

Providing and taking responsibility for a consistent and pleasant customer experience.

Maintaining a working knowledge of the tasting room and wine bar menus, products, and procedures.

Assisting with hiring, human resources and staff recruitment.

Assisting with staff scheduling.

Takes responsibility for the upper wine bar and food programs overall operations and efficiency.

Assuming responsibility for the overall cleanliness of the upper wine bar.

Assigning and delegating tasks as appropriate to team members.

Training and coaching team members on procedures.

Assisting with development in team members' wine knowledge.

Managing inventory.

Pricing and stocking retail, or delegating accordingly.

Helping develop new procedures and policies.

Continuing new initiatives and procedures to staff.

Assisting with event development.

Meeting pre-determined sales goals, including revenue targets and wine club sign-ups.

Ensuring team members complete all procedures properly, including (but not limited to):

Making staffing decisions based on wine bar traffic patterns.

Balancing the cash register at the end of the night and performing other closing and or opening duties.

Ensuring that the tasting room is properly secured at the end of each night.

Filling in when necessary in urgent situations.

Meeting regularly with ownership and management to review performances.

And any other duties as deemed necessary by management.

-2+ years of management, hospitality and customer service experience preferred.

-Must have experience with wine and food knowledge, as well as table service.

-Light to moderate office work is required

“Must have experience with office work and knowledge using Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, Word).

-Bachelors degree preferred.
