Naumes Suncrest Winery is looking for a professional server to join our new tasting room team. We are seeking a self-starter who has experience in the hospitality industry and is passionate about collaboration and high-level execution. The right candidate will support our mission to create the premiere tasting room of Southern Oregon.
Responsibilities and Duties
Create an exceptional tasting room experience by providing professional and warm service to all guests
Promote and effectively grow wine club membership base
Share wine and food knowledge to personalize each guest experience
Responsible for presenting menus, taking orders and for serving food and beverages to guests in an accurate and timely manner.
Accurately performing daily money handling procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Effectively and efficiently open and close the tasting room
Support with special events and private parties
Wash dishes and run food as needed
Maintain professional guest facing appearance at all times
Responsible for performing other job relatedjob-related tasks not outlined on this job description as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
2+ years food and beverage experience
Strong wine, food and service knowledge
High school diploma/GED required
Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more a day
High level of positivity and professionalism
Adaptable and team oriented
Conflict resolution skills.
Excellent verbal communication and organization skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
OLCC and Food Handlers Card, or ability to obtain them with 7 days
