48 Hour Shift Caregiver
Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide in-home care for our clients. The Caregiver will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health and well-being, and providing companionship. Caregivers work in a home with three to four elderly adults who may need assistance in activities of daily living. This is a great opportunity to support people, share your creativity and have fun while making an impact on the lives of residents. Please note this is a 48 hour shift contract position.
Pay:
- $22.00 per hour; $400 per day
- Bonus of $250 for caregivers with all certificates and trainings completed prior to starting (paid after 2 months of service).

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and toileting.
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks
- Administer medication as directed by physician
- Monitor client's health status and report any changes to physician
- Provide companionship and conversation
- Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Respect client's privacy and maintain confidentiality
- Assist with scheduling appointments
Qualifications:
- Caregiving: 2 years (Required)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Pre-Service Dementia Training (Preferred)
- HCBS Training (Preferred)
- Approved Background Check (Preferred)
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Qualified applicants must also have a valid Oregon driver’s license, and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
