Experienced, COVID-cautious caregiver needed to support 2 members of a family, one elderly with Parkinsonism and the other middle-aged with severe mobility challenges. The applicant must assist clients with cooking, cleaning, laundry, errands, transportation to work and social events, occasional bathing, transferring, ambulation, and other activities of daily living. Must be able to work independently, follow instructions, and perform delegated tasks. Ideal candidate would be able to recognize abnormal health findings and communicate that to the family and primary care provider.
The hours of this position would vary from 10-15/wk, mostly on Thursdays and Fridays. Flexibility to take on-call shifts in the event of emergency desired.
Pay is dependent on experience, up to $22.75/hr.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to pass a background check
Possess physical health, mental health, good judgment, and good personal character
Demonstrate the ability to comprehend and communicate in English orally and in writing.
Have (or get) and maintain current CPR and First Aid certification
Excellent driving record
Willing to wear a mask while on shift, vaccination preferred
