The Medical Assistant position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a patient-care focus
Assist with patient phone calls and communication regarding medical questions or needs, responding promptly.
Scheduling follow-up appointments
Room patients, taking patients' vitals, and ensuring patients' medical information is current and entered into the
electronic medical record system.
Assist patients with performing breathing tests; spirometry and exhaled nitrous oxide
Perform both Percutan and Intradermal Skin Tests on patients of all ages
Observe confidentiality and safeguards on all patient-related information and medical facility operational data to ensure that all HIPAA/OSHA standards are in compliance
Educate patients on the proper use of inhalers and other medications
Ensure the office and exam rooms are stocked, organized and clean the clinic at the end of each day
