Prokleen Restoration and Environmental Services is looking for an experienced Project Manager. Experience in the construction and/or damage restoration industry is required.
We are needing someone who can perform all stages of light remodel/construction, this position will work closely with the Restoration Technicians to perform demolition and remediation of disaster-affected homes. This position will use a computer and/or smartphone to schedule jobs, communicate with employees, clients, and insurance adjusters, keep track of job progress, etc.
JOB DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
Customer & Employee Relationship Skills - As the face of the company your communication skills will be tested daily as new clients seek our help. You will need to be able to effectively communicate with new clients and keep current clients up to date with each step of the job process. And when things inevitably go wrong you will be required to assuage any client concerns and/or problems and come to a reasonable solution for all parties involved.
Job Site & Employee Management Skills - You will be managing a small crew of Restoration Technicians who will perform the work you assign them. You need to be able to communicate clear expectations and supervise their activities and behaviors.
You will be required to work on job sites. You will be expected to know how to perform all levels of work necessary for the completion of each job. This means knowledge of remodel-type demolition, finish carpentry, structural rebuilding, drywall, paint, laminate, and other floorings, PPE, water/mold/fire mitigation, and more may be needed. You may not know everything, but being able to go out of your way to learn a needed process and then be able to effectively teach any crew member is key to success. Your crew will not work for you if you are unwilling or don’t know how to do what you ask of them.
It is your responsibility to identify potential safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure safety on the job site.
Computer & Organizational Management Skills - Manage job file documentation via a management database, this is electronic. A willingness to learn the software is necessary to be successful. Job details, notes, photos, documentation, job progress, etc. are all kept electronically.
Ability to control costs of production.
Manage company assets by using equipment and materials properly.
And other tasks as requested by the Owners
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and repetitively pushing, pulling, and carrying objects.
Comfortable with bending and performing other repetitive physical motions such as climbing ladders and crawling in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces & attics), sitting and/or walking for prolonged periods of time.
Knowledge of basic computer programs such as Word & Excel, email and database management software, as well as using a cellular device. And advanced programs such as Xactimate
Possess at least a High School Diploma or GED.
Have a working Construction Knowledge.
Hold Certifications such as IICRC, Mold Remediator, Asbestos & Lead, etc. is a plus.
Have a valid Driver's License and ability to travel long distances when necessary.
Can pass a Drug Screening for Illegal Substances.
