Entry-level position performing general labor and site utility work for commercial and residential construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare sites to eliminate hazards
Assist with construction tasks
Operate equipment like compressors and missiles
Install pedestals and vaults
Safely handle tools, materials, and equipment
Dig trenches and manage earth
Mix compounds for surfaces
Assist with conduit and cable placement
Maintain equipment and perform site clean-up
Complete required documentation and other assigned tasks
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or trade school education
Preferred 2 years of construction, maintenance, or labor experience
Knowledge of locate markings, construction drawings, and traffic controls
Ability to use hand tools, follow instructions, work independently or in a team, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
Pass background and drug screening if requested
Physically fit to lift up to 75 lbs., stoop, crawl, bend, and stand for long periods
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and noise levels
Willingness to travel up to 25%, including local and national travel
