Maggie's On The Prom seeks a dedicated and driven restaurant professional to help lead our Front-of-House team.

Who we are:

Maggie's On The Prom is an oceanfront restaurant located on the Promenade in Seaside, just two blocks South of Seaside's famed turn-around. Maggie's offers an eclectic locavore foodie menu in a fine dining atmosphere. We serve breakfast (seasonally), lunch, happy hour and dinner. We employ a team of creative professionals with exacting standard for food quality, taste and presentation. Our full service bar offers craft cocktails, local beer and a full wine list.

Ensuring quality of service, learning all there is to know about the menu, and seeing that customers receive a memorable and high quality experience.

Exercise exacting standards in regards to cleanliness of all areas, equipment and facilities. You know what needs to be fixed before it's broken.

Maintaining clear and professional relationships with all Maggie's constituents: vendors, service providers, and other industry professionals and fostering an atmosphere of trust and responsiveness.

Honing and demonstrating strong analytical skills: setting priorities, proactively addressing problems, adapting. You remain focused and composed in the eye of the storm but know when to ask for help.

Maintain a culture of cooperation among the FOH and BOH.

Requirements for FOH Manager:

5-8 years of experience in a full-service restaurant environment

3-5 years of management experience - preferably in fine dining food service environment

Knowledge of all steps of service and food safety practices

Knowledge of fine dining etiquette.

Strong leadership qualities

Ability to thrive and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and communication skills

Food knowledge helpful

Extensive wine knowledge required.

Extensive cocktail knowledge and experience required.

Desire to effect growth and betterment of the staff, the service, the food program, the bar program, and the restaurant at a whole.

Energy and excitement for making the most of every day.

Attend meetings with upper management and cross-company department heads.
