Job Responsibilities:
Perform daily Bar and Table opening & closing checklists.
Ensure entire Bar and Table prep list is executed daily.
Communicate low stock alerts.
serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
Greet customers and present menus.
Take drink and food orders.
Provide quality customer service
Communicate missing items or misfires with the kitchen.
Adhere to health department rules and regulations, upholding cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Check identification and confirm legal age
Recommend drinks and food based upon menu knowledge
Collect payment and deliver bills when appropriate.
Help clean and sanitize tables.
Makes suggestions for dessert, coffee, and wine and after dinner drinks, takes order and serves.
Verifies accuracy of prices and customer number on each check before presenting the bill to the member for signature.
Keep tables and bar clean and tidy.
Advises manager of any customer complaints as soon as they occur.
Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum two years Server experience in dining restaurants or bars.
Bartending Experience a plus
Ability to diffuse situations with heavily intoxicated patrons and cut them off.
Point of sale computer experience desirable.
Ability to interact with customer, coworkers, and management in positive, supportive, cooperative ways.
Knowledge and ability to effectively communicate
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment, perform duties under pressure, and in a timely manner.
Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, see, talk, hear, lift tray to shoulder up to 25 pounds, carry, push, pull or move objects.
Ability to read, understand and comply with all safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment at all times.
