Fort George Brewery Hiring Retail Specialist

Fort George is hiring for a Retail Specialist. Your tasks will include selling merch and beer to-go from the Lovell Auto Co retail space, serving humans with expert beer-to-go recommendations, offering impeccable Fort George Fashion advice, folding t-shirts, keeping the retail space neat and tidy, stocking all merch areas across the block, packing and shipping online orders (merch & beer) to Fort George fans, and being generally knowledgeable about the Fort George brand and our story.

Essential Functions:

Ringing up and closing out Retail space customer credit/cash transactions accurately & timely

Having lots of merch knowledge or being willing/able to memorize the facts

Having some basic beer knowledge or being willing/able to memorize the facts

Opening and/or closing the space daily

Stocking/facing to-go inventory

Stocking/straightening merchandise

Vacuuming/dusting merch space

Assisting Lovell Auto Co bottle club members when they access their lockers

Assisting with online merch orders and locker shipments

Other duties as assigned by supervisors

Who We Are Looking For:

You are 21 or older

Your basic beer knowledge and/or in-depth retail & Fort George knowledge a big plus

You are organized, self-motivated, and you work well independently

You have excellent written communication, and you can be organized across many different platforms of communication and data collection

You have some basic computer knowledge

You have a valid OLCC Server’s Permit or are able to obtain (temporary must be obtained by first day, permanent must be obtained within 45 days from first date of employment)

You have a basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures (or are able/willing to learn)
