Specialty construction firm looking for a payroll clerk.
Hours: 24-40 Permanent Position.
Successful applicants will have a strong full-cycle payroll background, including processing weekly payroll, certified payroll reports, Customer T&M Billings, Credit card receipt reconciliation.
Job Duties:
Enter weekly timesheets into payroll packet.
Price each timesheet to provide backup for customers billings (T & M).
Enters data from payroll packet into Quick Books.
Prepare weekly certified payroll reports.
Monthly payroll reporting for union benefits, dues, & deductions.
Monthly OCIP Hours.
Reconcile Credit Card accounts. Post receipts to Job and Class.
Required skills and experience:
QuickBooks proficiency is preferred, but other experience maybe substituted
Outstanding Word, Excel and verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Ideal candidate with at least two years of experience doing payroll for construction company
High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
Enjoy working in a small company environment independently or with the team
