Gustafson & Company, LLC is actively seeking an accountant to join our growing public accounting firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated person to actively help manage an outstanding group of individual and business clients. This position can be either full or part-time and can allow for a flexible work schedule as needed. This is an in-person job, but might allow remote work after you have been here a year.
Qualifications:
3+ years related experience
Oregon LTC, IRS Enrolled Agent, or CPA (or CPA candidate)
Ability to clearly communicate with clients – both verbally and written
Experience working with QuickBooks accounting software
Degree in Accounting
Responsibilities include:
Reviewing and adjusting client’s accounting records as needed to produce an accurate balance sheet and income statement to utilize in preparing the client’s business tax returns.
Communicating with clients to resolve periodic accounting questions, coordinate tax filings and assist with special projects
Preparation of individual and business income tax returns
