Summit Oral Surgery is seeking a dynamic and outgoing Front Desk Coordinator to join our start-up practice in North Portland. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys interacting with people, has a knack for problem-solving, and is eager to grow within a dynamic healthcare environment.

We are looking for a person with an exceptional personality who can create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our patients. You must be organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You must be eager to learn about oral surgery and insurance procedures, and thrive in a team-oriented setting.

Job Responsibilities:

Greet patients warmly and efficiently.

Schedule and confirm appointments.

Verify patient insurance benefits and process insurance pre-authorizations.

Collect and post patient payments.

Answer and direct phone calls.

Maintain patient records and update patient information.

Ensure the security and privacy of customer information through education, compliance and resolution of issues.

Our Commitment to You:

We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $18-25/hr; and a unique opportunity to share in the practice's success through our profit-sharing program (after one year). Additionally, you and your immediate family will receive $3000 in oral surgery treatment (excluding materials). Once we have transitioned to a full-time practice, you will have the option to elect health benefits, 401K, and a wellness stipend.

Hours: Part-Time Position (2 days/week) Friday 7AM-4PM and additional one day Monday-Thursday 8AM - 5PM. Will be able to transition to full time in early 2025.
