RETAIL SHIPPING SPECIALIST JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist customers at the front counter with all packaging and shipping needs while advising them on the best
shipping methods.
Process packages using an array of shipping services and companies via computer-based programs.
Learn international and wine shipping policies and laws.
Process retail financial transactions and maintain a balanced till.
Pack items, including fragile and high value, securely for safe shipping.
Perform daily tasks which could include opening or closing procedures.
Complete other duties as needed.
SKILLS NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION
Shipping experience is helpful but not as important as customer service experience.
Computer skills are needed to be successful in this position.
Must be available for scheduling Mondays thru Saturdays.
Be on your feet all day and be able to lift 50lbs throughout the day.
