Little Explorer Montessori in Beaverton, OR is looking for one Montessori / preschool teacher to join our 6-person strong team. We are located at 4970, SW 185th Avenue. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable. Hourly wage depends on your educational qualifications and experience working with children. Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor children's indoor and outdoor activities
Keep records of children's progress, routines, and interests and relaying needed information to parents
Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants in his/her care
Serve meals
Help in the bathroom and change diapers as needed
Ensure play, sleep, and changing areas are kept clean
Qualifications
Experience in a Montessori classroom is a plus
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift 35-40 lbs, bend and stand
Willing to take professional development classes required by Early Learning Division
Meet annual professional development requirements, per state regulations
Ability to pass a drug screen and have a current background check
Caring individual who enjoys teaching young children
Ability to work a shift in between 7:15 am - 5:00 pm.
Reliable transportation to work
Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents
