As a Carpenter with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support custom home and commercial contractors throughout Portland, Oregon and surrounding areas. Hours: Monday through Friday day shift. Weekend work potentially available.

Using hand or electric tools to fabricate, cut, and install framework.

Build metal, wood framing, and roof truss components.

Maintain, construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard.

Perform residential and commercial projects.

Complete Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, finishing interior and exterior trim, and other wooden fixtures.

Being confident in framing, measuring, trim work, and finishing work Review blueprints, schematics, and drawings.

Follow safety practices at all times.

Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of building codes and laws in your area

Perform tests and use the results to diagnose problems ? for example, when an outlet is not working, using a multimeter to check the voltage, amperage, or resistance to resolve the appropriate course of action

Have all of the tools of your trade on hand and be able to bring them to your jobsite

Must have a current Oregon General Journeyman License or a reciprocating license for the State of Oregon
