Description Robert Half is on the hunt for an Event Assistant to support the seamless execution of an upcoming event. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, interacting with people, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.PLEASE NOTE: For this role, you must be available for the event on Saturday, January 11th as well as virtual training earlier in the week.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with event setup, ensuring all decorations, signage, and materials are properly arranged.
Manage the check-in table, greeting guests, and verifying attendance.
Distribute name tags and drink tickets to attendees with a welcoming and professional demeanor.
Organize and set up raffle prizes, ensuring proper placement and visibility.
Act as a point of contact for approximately 100 guests, addressing any questions or concerns during the event.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive or personal information related to the event.
Requirements
Prior experience in event support, customer service, or a related role is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable attitude.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt quickly and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with team members.
Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in all aspects of work.
