Description Robert Half is seeking a General Office Clerk to assist with a backlog of work for a reputable company based in Portland. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of general office tasks and be comfortable staying focused with repetitive duties. If you enjoy playing a vital role is supporting day-to-day office operations, this will be a great position for you.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answers phone and directs calls to the appropriate recipient (low-volume)
Examines incoming mail and assists with appropriate distribution
Assists with filing and enters necessary tracking information into database
Scans, emails and faxes documents as needed
Various projects as assigned
Requirements
1 or more years' experience general office support
Friendly and helpful phone etiquette; multi-line telephone experience preferred
Ability to efficiently learn new processes and follow instruction accurately
High attention to detail and organization expertise
Basic knowledge of word processing and use of office equipment
