Job Title: Cellar Associate
Company Overview: Cellar 55 Tasting Room is a wine bar and wine shop that focuses on small, boutique wineries from Washington State. We also have an extensive Wine Storage facility that provides state of the art, climate controlled wine storage and related services and products to wine collectors in the greater Southwest Washington and Portland area. This is the perfect job for someone who wants to work a fun, part job on Friday evenings from 5-10, with some private parties on Saturdays and Sundays.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct wine tastings
Serve and sell wine and light appetizers to customers
Serve wine at private parties
Maintain the cleanliness of our facility including bathrooms, floors, and tasting rooms
Update payment information and contact information for existing wine storage clients.
Qualifications:
Ability to work Friday evenings 5-10 PM and some Saturdays and Sundays
The ability to lift 40-45 pound wine case boxes
Professional appearance and demeanor
Experience in customer service and dealing with the public
A passion for wine
Valid driver’s license
An affinity for details
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to obtain a Washington MAST card
Access to reliable transportation
